Tailscale Setup for Internal Services

If you're seeing this page unexpectedly, Tailscale may be off or not set up properly.

Install Tailscale

Visit the Tailscale downloads page and follow the corresponding installation instructions.

Accept Shared Device Invite

Upon request, you will receive an invite email or link granting you access to the Tailscale node(s) necessary for internal services. Currently, there is only one required node named "core", however, there may be more in the future.

You may have to complete an onboarding survey and select "Skip this introduction" if prompted to add a second device.

Configure DNS Settings

Visit the Tailscale DNS page on the admin dashboard. Under Nameservers, select "Add nameserver", then Custom. Enter
100.66.144.64 as the IP address, then enable "Restrict to domain" and enter
internal.alexanderliu.com. Upon completion, restart any Tailscale clients to ensure their configuration is up to date.
